As mentioned before, the new iPad Pro is a powerhouse due to being supercharged by the addition of the M1 Chip. This is the same chip that’s included in the 2020 Macbook Air and Macbook Pro (13 inch). It has an 8-core CPU with 4 performance cores and 4 efficiency cores as well as an 8-core GPU and a 16‑core Neural Engine. Along with that, it features a 120hz ProMotion Liquid Retina XDR display.

Moving on to the cameras, the iPad Pro has a 12MP front camera as well as a set 12MP + 10MP + ToF Front Cameras. There are 5 storage options of 128GB/256GB/512GB/1TB/2TB, which provide multiple options for the customer to choose from. However it is reminded that the base model is only 128 GB and the increased storage options cost much more.

Overall, the iPad Pro provides the ultimate tablet experience that appeals to many user audiences.

According to TechRadar, the 12.9 inch iPad Pro is ‘the best tablet money can buy’ and commended it’s display and new chipset. We at The Young Consumer completely agree that some of the minor but impactful changes are indeed very effective in providing the best user experience possible. Along with that, the brightness and display has allowed it to compete with the likes of the Galaxy Tab S7 Plus, most likely it’s biggest competitor in the tablet market.

Overall, their verdict highlighted the fact that it provides an all-round experience for both apple fans and those who want a high quality tablet. On the other hand, they did mention how it’s not for everybody due to its high price and size. However, they made sure to mention that this really is “the best of the best.”

Tom’s Guide posted a similar response. They made the same compliments about the XDR display and spoke highly of the M1 chip. In their words, “it beats the competition handily” and is extremely powerful when using the multitasking mode and streaming 1080P/60FPS video. As expected, they commended the new “centre stage” feature as it makes it easier for office workers to have video calls. Something very unique about Tom’s Guide’s review was how they mentioned audio. They mentioned how the four speakers provided strong sound and it was almost surprising to see that kind of sound quality from a tablet so thin. Along with that, they also wrote about iPadOS and its multitasking abilities. It has more than enough space for more than three apps at once, and while everything else is quite strong, the limitations of the software are visible.

Conclusion

Overall, the new iPad Pro is simply a marvel to admire. It is at the top of its class and some of the small but nifty features are indeed quite useful. However, its $1099 price tag will definitely defer some consumers.

Yes, it’s definitely a high quality product, but the price tag is simply too large to ignore as your everyday purchase. As an overall product, it is simply fantastic and the creme de la creme of tablets, but as a budget product we would not recommend it. We would also like to make clear that Apple has other budget tablets, but say that while this does provide the ultimate user experience, it is quite a big investment.
